EFM-10 uses the 802.3ah management protocol, making it a very powerful unit for service providers and providing all needed mass deployment features. EFM-10 has a 4 port Ethernet switch with advanced VLAN and QoS capabilities. Management includes web-based interface, SNMP, telnet CLI interface and local console port. The EFM-10 can provide 5.7Mbps of data throughput on a 2 wire AWG26 copper line and can be used in point to point connections.
