When off-road fans venture into unknown terrain together, the Treads (Group Ride Tracker) VHF module ensures that they do not lose sight of themselves. Groups of up to 20 drivers can share their location data, keep track of their friends on the tread's map display and send predefined messages among each other. Compatible Garmin devices are Garmin Tread and Garmin zumo XT. Group tracking is available to users of a Tread Sat Nav and only drivers with a Group Ride Tracker can be recorded. A connection to the vehicle's power supply is required for use
