Colour Rendering Index or CRI is used to measure the ability of a light source to reveal the colours of objects in comparison to natural daylight. The Ryobi area light achieves a CRI rating of 80, meaning its 80% as good as natural daylight which is ideal for all your various DIY and decorating projects.
Depending on your environment we recommend using this light at a distance of 0-4 meters from your work area so you get a nice white light bathing the entire work area.
As for the batteries, the 18V area light is part of the ONE+ System, meaning all 18V ONE+ batteries are compatible with this product and over 40 other garden and power tools.
